Few hours ago I posted the specs that Spanish gaming magazine Micromania had published about Starcraft II. Well looks like Blizzard has denied the leak of the PC requirements now floating around the internet.

Spanish gaming magazine Micromania posted leaked system specs for StarCraft 2. But are these specs real or not???
Considering that Blizzard has been known to release games that will work on minimal hardware requirements and probably even pride themselves to that fact, the specs that Micromania posted seem a little high for a Blizzard game.

According to Starcraft 2 lead developer Chris Sigaty, Blizzard is working hard at making the 3D engine un-intrusive as possible.
"It's a whole 3D engine, so there will be differences to some degree but our core goal out of it is to have that really fast-paced action, quickly grabbing units and assigning them to particular targets, [...]

Here’s a picture of what appears to be a Zerg Ultralisk, released during Blizzard’s GDC ‘08 presentation by Rob Pardo. Lets hope it makes it into the final version of the game!
