Episode 3 of BlizzCast is now available on Blizzard’s website.

For those of you that are not familiar with BlizzCast, it’s a PodCast realted to everything Blizzard. This is the third PodCast and a lot of info about StarCraft 2 is included in this edition.

Now back to the latest episode, the first interview is with Dustin Browder (Lead Designer on StarCraft II), titled Zerg Evolution – StarCraft to StarCraft II and runs for about 14 minutes. Dustin talks about the evolution of the Zerg in StarCraft 2, how they needed to keep the feel of the Zerg on the battle field and the terror this race inflicts on it’s adversaries. He then talks about the Queen and the Ultralisk, how the game play goes about as for micro and macro management and the overall direction that the Zerg race is going.

Interview 2 is with Jeff Kaplan (Lead Designer on World of Warcraft) and is only about World of Warcraft.

Interview 3 is with Joeyray Hall (Manager of Video Production), titled Machinima Magic, he talks about the South Park, “Make Love not Warcraft” episode and some other videos and trailers he worked on.

Then the PodCast ends with a Community Q&A with Dustin Browder (Lead Designer on StarCraft II) and
Jeff Kaplan (Lead Designer on World of Warcraft). The Q&A is all about the Zerg and the game play with this race. This part runs 8 minutes and has alot of info that most of you will really like.
